Nestled on a family farm passed down through generations, the design pays homage to its roots with a modern farmhouse aesthetic. Simple shapes and classic gables define the structure, while the exterior features over-grouted stone, cedar, and burnt black siding. At the back of the home, floor-to-ceiling glass connects the indoor living areas with the outdoors. The site features a gentle slope and we designed a sunken patio to create a cozy, secondary outdoor entertaining space.
